2010 370 sundancer
Engines
350 bravo 3
does anyone have any info on the the performance of a 2013 350 equiped with 350 mags?

Thanks for the reply. I just looked. Nothing there :/
So far every review I find is for this boat with the larger engines. The boat I’m looking at is in great shape I’m curious about performance. I don’t want to do the buying dance only to get to the sea trial and find out it won’t plane lol

With the B3's, it will plane. My boat has the 350 Mags with V-drives, weighs 14,000 pounds and it will plane and run in the low 30's. My LOA is actually 33', 4", so just under 2' different than a 350.

It does have B3 s but I’m not sure how big a difference that would make. Be nice if searay published the data lol
I just sold a 2000 340 da with v dr and 7.4 l. I would judge it’s performance “ok” with a light load to “damn this is underpowered” with a load. Wondering how this would compare

Thanks for the link!
I also posted in general forum. We ll see if anything pops up over there. :)

It doesn't really work like that... the active members usually look at "New Posts", so we see your post regardless what forum you post in.

ok. Very new here :)
No worries.
We all were new at some point.

I click on “new posts” when I visit here. That’ll show the newest posts across all forums.

Once you view one of these, you won’t see it under “new posts” until someone else adds to it.

“Recent posts” allows you to see “new posts” that you have already viewed

Sea Dog, welcome! If you are comparing a v-drive boat which you had before to a newer B3 outdrive boat, I think you would be impressed by their efficiency. The big question for most is what kind of water are you boating in? I would not hesitate to buy a B3 boat in freshwater but would not consider one in salt. That said every v-drive boat I have run did not have the performance of a B3. The ability to trim the drives is great but the things that can go wrong are a consideration.V drives are bullet proof, outdrives are faster and can trim a boat much better giving better fuel burn. My two cents...worth less than half...

I have 350 MAGs B3s in a 2009 310 which is the same as a 2010+ 330, both of which are about 2 feet shorter and somewhat lighter than the 2013 350.

We boat as a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) on an inland lake and find the 350 MAGs to be adequate in time-to-plane speed. Top end speed is more than adequate. Maneuverability is excellent.

I’m not exactly sure how an extra thousand or so pounds and 2 more feet will affect your experience, but I would think getting out of the hole will be the biggest impact, especially if you're heavily loaded.

If at all possible, I’d recommend sea trialing if you have the opportunity...

Thanks for the reply. I didn’t realize this site existed. I would have joined sooner :).
Everything I’m reading and hearing leads me to believe it’s probably powered ok.
Would love to hear from someone with this boat and engine set up
