2002 Sundancer - How to Turn Water system on

I'm not sure but I think the 280DA, like the 260DA, doesn't have a water indicator. I know I didn't on my 260. I had to open the engine hatch and do a visual check if I wanted to know the level.

Hi all, Just purchased my first Sea Ray. 2001 290 Bowrider. Twin Merc 5.7 EFI. I have a sink in the head, and one at the Wet Bar, and a Transom Shower. Added about 3 gallons of water , turned on batteries, open up faucet, no water flowing. The boat is tied up at my dock, no shore power is connected . I see no switch or any kind on the dash, and no circuit breaker inside the port side circuit breaker box. Do I need to add a lot more water?? Is there a pressure switch that senses when the tank is low on water?? Thank You for any advice!!! Lenny Foffa , Manahawkin , N.J.
Previous Boat : 1989 31 Ft Chris Craft Scorpion Center Console/Twin Merc. 200 HP

The pump should turn on regardless. You should hear the pump priming or running continuously when water is requested. That being said add more water...you can hold 24 gallons.

2) Never leave the shore hose connected when leaving the boat. Some people leave it connected and turn off the valve said:
I put a quick disconnect on the hose to make the process fast and easy.
