Our 450 had birds nests in it. I had to remove the fridge to get to the back of the W/D.After putting a new duct-hose on it I put chicken wire on the outside of the hull but inside the vent cover with silicone to keep the birds out.Periodically I need to clean the chicken wire from the pier to let the dryer breath properly.

Thanks for the reply. I dont know if your design is the same as the 480 sedan bridge. Ours it right at the water line and when the boat is tipped to that side or the tender is on the hydraulic swim platform - the dryer wont vent. Why did they put it soo low?
