What is the process of reinstalling the screen that covers the cuddy hatch window? Mine has a rigid aluminum frame around the screen will not bend at all.

You're thinking too much

Rotate the (4) little, black "latches"... hold the screen in place... rotate the (4) latches back in place to hold the screen.

So it doesn’t fit into any grooves or channels?

Nope. Simply held in place with those black latches. Sometimes simple is good.
