This is a Clarion amp for my 2005 SR sound system. Anyone know where I can find a new or used one that works?

Just out of curiosity, why the need for the same model? Its 20th century tech. You can get better wattage in a smaller package and it will be about twice as efficient.

I don’t want to replace the entire system. Apparently, it’s just the amp that’s broken.

You may have a hard time finding a working unit. I have had several of that exact model and they all crapped out after 8-10 years.

And why would you? amps are universal, regardless of brand. They have pre-amp RCA inputs, power cable connections, remote turn-on, settings controls and speaker chnl outputs. Your source speakers and will not know the difference.

You probably figured out that I am new to a boat this size. The amp is gone. The receiver is fine, speakers work and bridge remote works. Is there another amp that would work? Same hook up?
Etc. Do you have a recommendation?

ted,

Let me look at stuff in my basement. I swapped out the clarion with a new fusion 755. Can you post a photo? Off the top of my head I have no idea what the model is.

if it’s what you need, it’s free to a good home if you cover the shipping.

Ebay, search Clarion Amp, the APX4240 and the APA4160 are both plug and play for you. The APX4240 is a pretty good amp and for about $150 delivered, your good. Not sure which Sea Ray model you have, some have two amps, one for the sub, so it would be helpful to tell us that. There are a ton of other options but if you want easy and cheap, these will work.

I appreciate all of you and your help! My Sea Ray is a 2005’, 40’ aft cabin.

Looked at the amazon page. Unfortunately the unit is unavailable ☹️
