Hello all,

Just picked up our first boat. Kind of an impulse buy since we have a family RV and wanted to have a little more fun in the sun when on vacation. So we aren't land locked at the RV camp...

We bought in April 2019, a used 2007 Sea Ray 185 sport from first owner with only 60 hours on the engine... Body and interior where in excellent shape, minor scraps on hull, most buffed out easily... most repairs have been regarding leaks through hull in bilge and floor storage bin... mainly where the fiberglass seemed to have bubbled... a little clear sealant fixed those right up... sealed up any exterior screws and around the plug... still have no idea where the water was coming from but now its at least managable... Last trip a couple weeks ago, the bilge pump came on once the whole trip... The bigger issues where on the trailer and replacing the entire break system soup to nuts...

All in all, we haven't had many outings and truly enjoying this new adventure in our lives... Next summer should be the real test... Have a couple modifications planned, but finding due to the age of the boat accessories and parts are harder to find and boat part stores are not as common as auto part stores so has become a challenge...

Hope to follow up on some forums and possibly get to know some other Sea Ray owners and bounce idea's and issue off everyone on occassions...

Have a great day...
