Official 2003.5-2008 340 Sundancer Thread

Yes, but like most things with boats... it was a available option if you wanted to buy it. ;)

We also have access to all the original canvas and colors (plus some custom colors) for these models.

Thanks Kevin. The current owner does not know if this is original or after market. Is there anyway to tell? I don't want to order one from you only to find out it will not fit.

If we get all the proper details and they are confirmed by great lakes you will get a guaranteed fit.

Here's my 73 srv with full canvas cover. Got this cruiser home and found the covers stashed away brand never used.

J, a few things to consider adding to your add:

1. Age of all three impellers?
2. Age of bottom paint?
3. Have the V drives been serviced?
4. Have all lights been upgraded to LED?
5. If the fridges have been upgraded worth noting.
6. Looks like the Magma has a nice mount. Good value add in my opinion.
7. Trim tabs and indicators?

Love the custom bar, its on my to do list. So is the LCD TV and now the cabin treads since my wife saw your post! Awesome boat, good luck.

Great feedback. Thank you sir!

I made a verbal offer, followed by an email, on the Virginia Beach, VA 2004 340 on Sunday, less than 24 hours after driving 5 hours round trip looking at it. While looking at the boat he told me if I like it get an offer in quick because someone was travelling from out of town this coming Saturday to see it. Thus why I got an offer in quickly.

The broker finally replied to my verbal/email offer Monday stating he was working on it, which I took to mean presenting to the seller. I was waiting for the electronic purchase agreement, and for him to ask me for my address and such for the agreement. I texted him this morning asking for an update. No reply. I just called him, and he tells me he has another offer on the boat, $2k more than mine, and that I still "might have a chance". I asked him why I never heard back from my offer, he gave me a song and dance about me not giving him my information to complete the purchase agreement, that he told me about the other offer, etc. All BS. Every broker

I hate dealing with brokers. My guess is he used my offer as leverage with the other interested buyer.

For sale by Owner, no broker. Make an offer!

Finally!! I have a contract on a 2004 Sea Ray 340!! Woo Hoo..happy dance!! I have not inspected it yet (5 hour drive round trip), pics look good, used my a buyers broker who I really like, sale is pending my inspection this weekend. I'm getting tired of driving to see bad boats or see a good one and get the run around when it comes time to make an offer, so I took a different approach with this one. Fingers crossed it shows well.

Anybody remember how many gallons of oil for each motor? 8.1 liter mercruiser?
A lot ;-) Manual reads 6.5 quarts with replacing filter, I've read 9 quarts on other forums. If you are using a pump you will not get all of the oil out though in my opinion and from my experience.

Fyi I was a little over 2 gallons and a quart per side, almost 2 gallons 2 quarts. Just have to do generator and I’m done
