I see another thread was removed recently. Gee, it's already in the Holding Tank. I missed the goings on the last two times. I'm wondering just how shitty a thread has to be to require a pump out or do we have some Snowflake stuff going on here at CSR?

Good question Woody. I replied to some trolling a few days ago and 'poof', gone...

I had to get up to the boat so I didn't get a chance to comment on that last one. I think it was somebody taking odds on Trumps impeachment or something.

Kind of bothers me, boaters in general are a group of men well versed in all things manly, capable of discussing any subject, even considering opposing views. As women cleared the table men moved to the den, bourbon in one hand, cigar in the other, arguments were made, discussions were had, things were learned, often perspective was changed.

Little by little, the banning of words restricts sharing of thought, it will take it's toll, we'll go bow up and then slide slowly down into the depths.:(

Impeachment unfortunately does NOTHING, Clinton was impeached and stayed his full term.....;)

One word for the TRUMPERS, well two, leaving Syria?? I know we want to get out of all the wars, but, if they are our allies WTH?? Well, they were, until now, they are NO angels...…. Now Russia is taking hold on the border, but wait....."Russia is our friend under this President"...….

syria usa ?

the world gives him zero respect , everybody learned about paper tigers and that is bad .

.....because Obama didn't create the vacuum in Iraq, & released Abu Al Bahgdadi from a US holding facility, creating ISIS? Hence by creating that vacuum and by withdrawing from Iraq, left the Kurds hanging in N. Iraq as ISIS (or is it ISIL as Obama called them) laid waste. We can include the 'lost' Anbar Province that 3500 US soldiers sacrificed their lives too secure. Thankfully we have now re-secured it, again.

As much as you'd like to believe, the world didn't start last week when President Donald Trump decided to remove 1000 US soldiers from Syria.

President Obama: "This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility."
Spare us the Russia platitudes.......but I digress.....

i do not jump on bashing presidents , but seriously : usa should quickly restore a credible deterrence in foreign affairs - if its not too late - because otherwise every respect will be lost for long with serious consequences .

iran , syria , much more .

Your post illustrates what the current administration has been saying all along. When asked specifically by the US to help with troop replacements so the US can reduce it's own in Syria what did Germany say?... Nein.

Take some of the captured ISIS fighters for example. European countries refuses to take there own jihadist back, as if it's somebody else's problem.

The USA wanting not to get mired in Syria should be no surprise to anyone, not at home, not in Europe, and not to the Kurds. Trump has been trying seriously to do that for well over a year. He stayed until the caliphate was broken up, that was the goal. But make no mistake, ISIS/ISIL and the like will never be erased. Islam is the fertile ground and the weeds will always grow.

Turkey and the Kurds goes back at least to WW1. Is the USA expected to stay in northern Syria to become entangled in that also? Perhaps if we had someone to partner with, but I'm not aware of anyone offering.

Maybe you should look within before constantly criticizing the USA. Look at NATO and its members failure to meet their commitments. You guys slough off even though it's for your own benefit. As a citizen of the USA, like my President, I don't like that either.

good post woody !

from a pure american point of view i give you a point what you say .

but nevertheless the damage will be massive if usa finally looses its face in regards to be a credible military deterrence.

other point : i would quickly remove us nukes stored in turkey and relocate them in fully trustworthy nato countries - lets say poland - or bring them back to usa . turkey does not appear to be a partner anymore for storing us nuclear bombs .
