Hi All!
Been following this forum for a few months since purchasing my first cruiser in September. Just thought I would introduce myself as I seem to be visiting this forum more often than I thought.. lol. I've enjoyed reading multiple threads and learning a thing or two!
I owned a 2000 180 sport bowrider for 4 years and just recently took the big step to the cruiser world. Just bought a 270 Sundancer. 7.4 merc, bravo II drive. Now I have to wait 6 months before I really get to enjoy it the joys of buying in the fall lol.
First little project I will be doing is the EVA foam through-out the cockpit and swim platform. I have been reading the EVA Foam thread on here and absolutely love the look and think it makes an older boat look that much better!
Been in contact with aqua marine deck and their customer service seems likes no other compared to other companies so leaning towards them.
Another big project I am considering taking on is installing a windlass.. would love to hear everybody's feedback on how necessary it is? Worth the price?
Anyway my girlfriend & I are on Kempenfelt Bay in Barrie, Ontario! Look forward to doing the Trent waterway system next year and checking out the Georgian Bay waters.
Cheers!
