With the popularity of the 'day boat' and seeing more SR's with outboards, anyone think a CC could be in the future like the past Laguna model they used to make?

Like many decisions made at the corporate level I suspect they'll look at the marketing materials that show what other boats are producing that are selling well. If they think there's a buck to be made you can bet well be seeing one in a year or two.

Crownline just launched a line of CCs, Regal makes a hybrid one, Chaparral makes a hybrid one, it is coming.....

Brunswick owns Boston Whaler.

I'm no expert in running a corporation that has multiple brands, but Boston Whaler has amazing brand equity (I'd argue it's better than SR these days), so if I were writing the checks, I'd have a hard time investing in a SR CC when Boston Whaler already has a fleet of them that are well-respected.

I suppose I could see a SR "SUV-type" CC -- one of those boats that look like a center console, but in reality, they are a party platform.
