Hi
Today we were out in the water and a family member pt a bin under the sink, which 8n turn dislocated the sink drain which flooded under the transom fridge. unfortunately a power cord went into this water and believed this was the cause.
1, I have gone to the main breaker board and the switch didn’t trip unless there was another I cannot find.
2. I have checked both on genset and shore power both not Woking on the OUTLET breaker
3. I don’t believe this 2005 model has gfci outlets that I could find
4. It’s both starboard and port sides

any help appreciated.
I love this forum and the community here. It’s awesome

There must be one or more GFIs on your boat. Your post says all outlets, but usually circuits are grouped with a GFI, so not all would go at once, unless the issue is farther up the circuit.

Do you have power at the MDP? If so, are other systems on the boat working? If it’s just the outlets, then it’s the likely the breaker on the MDP or the GFIs.

thanks so much for your reply.
All other AC items working just not the outlets across the whole boat.

I tried to find if and where there are any Gfis on Sundancer 375 (340 DA) 2005 but couldn’t see anything.
I’m guessing there is a hidden one somewhere (only owner of boat for 4 weeks) otherwise the breaker in Main distribution board has gone faulty either the short.

I used to own a 340 Sundancer a long time ago and I remember there were GFI's. From memory, check inside the cabinet under the cockpit sink for a utility grey duplex outlet. Also, check the helm station for that same type of outlet. It might be down low. If not I suggest you check your owners manual for the electrical layout and/or ask the 340 forum for the answer.

There are twi GFCIs. One below the cockpit sink and one in the head vanity behind the storage mirror on the right above sink.

As mentioned before check that you hac AC voltage at the panel. If on shore power nake sure there is power at the pedistal your plugged into. Then make sure both the inlet switches are on in the transom storage and that the AC panel switches are properly set at the genset crossover.

Thanks heaps Buddy I will check next on boat.

Thanks Kev. That’s great mate.
I’ll check that when next on boat.
when you say cockpit sink , you mean on main deck ?
That’s where the leak was from that sink and I didn’t see anything there in brief look. I’ll check again.

There are gfci outlets on the boat. Definitely one in the head (could be inside or under cabinet). Additional could be in the cockpit (ice-maker or refrigerator outlet). There could be one for cabin refrigerator too. Usually they connected the way that one gfci controls few more on same breaker.

thanks heaps. Seems like the head is first place to look. Appreciated

Yes, on the main deck. There should be an outlet in a grey covered box. Look inside the taller door. Should be power in there for the cockpit fridge.

hi
The issue isn’t just the fridge but ALL OUTLETS.
I have looked in the cupboards in the head, upper and lower, and there is no GFC or breakers I can see.
Looked under sinks both upstairs and downstairs. Nothing.

Hi all
After digging around found it!!!
To the side of the breaker panel.
Makes sense.
Located above second bed cupboards as pictured.
All power back on now.
Thanks so much for your responses.

Glad you found it - things like this are usually simple fixes once you track it down.

That does not look like a standard installation location although I am not sure about the international models (like your 375 which is my 340). Maybe it was added by a previous owner.

When was the last time you saw a G.F.I. like that.
Around here usually its a G.F.I. outlet. ( Maybe international model )
All the boats I owned had G.F.I. outlets.

I’m guessing it’s because we are 240v here in Australia instead of 120v like you guys.
Appreciate again all your help as it made me look around for a seperate breaker or would never have know.
Happy new year
