Damage to Alpha One Gen II Outdrive

I have Alpha one Gen II outdrives. I recently had the starboard outdrive skeg repaired at a local marina. After I picked it up the outdrive I noticed some damage to the tabs that surround the U-joint. Does any one know if this will affect the performance or create a large problem in the out drive? I have attached a photo to show the damage.

Not going to be an issue, some have removed a tab to service the U joint when replacing them
