In the effort of killing time, does anyone have some cool tips, tricks, modifications, inventions, etc, to post up? Maybe something creative you made to just make life on the water easier, or, just something to show off?

Im interested in custom outside the box type stuff, anything that makes boating better really.

Cut the top off your black-water filter, replace the charcoal and put it back together with a band of electrical tape.

fasten a length of PVC tube to your dinghy's transom. Use it to transport your rods and doubles an an umbrella holder for shade or shelter from the rain.

Replace all the door bumpers on the locker doors with new rubber "dots" cost is about 3.00 from Home depot and you won't believe how much quieter your boat is.

Also check the generator for vibrations, hoses, wire loom, intake filter, mounts, I cut my noise in half!

When you change your oil, have 2.5G ziploc bags, put the bags over the oil filter once you break it lose, the oil will run right down into the bag

Ditch the pretty 13g white trash bags, use heavy duty lawn bags all the time and you won't have rips, tears, messes, or spills

use NoFlex digestor in your holding tank and stop promising me you have something better or yours just doesn't 'need' it

turn humidity control on your AC's when you leave the boat, your cabinets will thank you

install LED lights in your engine room, if your nerdy enough to be on this forum then you NEED these lights hahaha

We installed a powerstip under the v berth with USB ports and long cables to either side of the bed to charge our phones, get's rid of the pucks and wiring.
