Sams has all their marine batteries $20 off. That makes the group 31 AGM battery $159. This is the same battery as West Marine and made by Deka. It is just a different sticker - exact battery that is $259-300 elsewhere.
 
If you are in the market for 8D batteries, they are definitely the best buy in town.

For how long? I need two batteries but it's a 45 mile drive. Trying to figure out if I need to rush out there or I can wait until weekend.

Thanks for posting. I have some group 29's from 2013 that I believe should be changed out.
 
What size battery, 27 or 31?

1991 225 Bow Rider. 5.7 Lt.

I do not have any electronics on board beside the radio/CD player and depth finder. We hardly use the radio. We love to sit and enjoy life.

We have been busy the last few years and only use the boat 25 hours or so. :(

Yes, I did a search on this site. Bigger is always better. :). Battery tray is large enough for 31. Thank you for any insights.

Just picked up a pair of Group 31's. Thank goodness Sam's has a separate battery and tire area. I was in and out in 10 mins. Sam's is a flippin' mad house.

I went and got two of the same yesterday. Wasn't too bad of a madhouse then. Glad I didn't wait until today.

The panic is sad. Every store near me is out of meat, tp, paper towels, medicines, bread products, cleaning supplies, frozen foods.
Our Sams club did $500,000 sales on Thursday alone, and we are a small town.
 
Wasn't crowded at all 3 years ago when I got mine:)
