Yeah, despite all guidance people will still be stupid. I have gone to the grocery store a couple times this week, but I check out the number of cars in the parking lot before I go in. If it's at all crowded I pass. I dont even go down an aisle if someone else is in it. I can wait. Walmart, no way.
 
Some of us are stronger defenders of the Constitution than those that make the claim. I actually own a domain to that mission. Though some of us have a different interpretation. Simple as that.

It would be derailing the thread by continuing to beat a dead horse as it doesn't pertain to the virus.

I broke off a piece of tooth filling last night. Called my dentist this morning. I got a recording that the office is closed because of the crisis and if it was an emergency call another number. I did, got a recording to leave a message. A few minutes later My dentist's assistant called me and went over a few things and said because I wasn't in a life threatening situation or in miserable pain, under the guidelines they are following in this crisis, they couldn't schedule me. She said she would meet me at the office and give me a temporary fix I could do myself. About 90 minutes later she called and asked where I live, said sorry it took so long and she would just bring it to my house, she would be here in a few minutes. I told her to leave the temporary fixer on the porch and I would grab it after she walked away. Turns out it's just off the shelf Dent-Temp. I called her back and said I could have gotten that, she didn't need to run it out to me. She said she wasn't sure where she would find it and didn't want me to have to run around to several drug stores to find it, it's not something that they use in the office.
So unbeknownst to me at the time, she left her home in the pouring rain, went to 3 drug stores before she found it, then drove it to my house all so I wouldn't have to go out in public to drug stores where sick people are sure to be. She said she would call me as soon as all this mess is over and they can see me. I should replace the broken piece of filling best I can and at least it will prevent me from cutting my tongue on the jagged edge. No charge.
She's a darling.​
Tomorrow morning I get to play dentist on my own teeth. .
 
This is the garbage the media churns out. Then people wonder why we question them? This is another dangerous report from fake news. Dangerous to the fact that it has the potential to incite more panic and also dangerous to the fact that individuals won’t believe real reporting, when available, about the Wuhan virus. This was no mistake - this is just sad....

That’s just SOP for most of them. I was scanning the channels earlier today and was surprised to see Brian Williams on air. I thought he got canned after making up stories about himself getting shot at while on a chopper somewhere over in one of the deserts. Apparently they just shuffled him over to msnbc?
 
I was on a video conference call with the companies HQ in Korea. 8 people in the conference room in Korea. All of them except for the CEO running the meeting was wearing a mask. None of us had masks but we were all working from our homes...
 
You know, there is the constitution and there is common sense. Regardless of the legalities it is obvious this pastor put greed ahead of common sense. My MIL church has been cancelling and doing a virtual sermon on the internet. But guess that pastor figured it might be too hard to get his greedy dollars that way
 
I used to look like Buddha but over the last 3 years I've been doing some serious "push aways" and have dropped over 30 lbs. I've increased the pace in the past year just a bit so now my weight has dropped from my all time high at 254 down to my current 220.

youbub, FYI, Walmart has a new program where you can enter your order online and they will deliver it to your house. You can either enter you credit card info when you place the order or give the info to the delivery person when he brings your order.

My wife just placed our first order. You get $10 off if your first order is over $50. She placed it about 5:30 p.m. , delivery tomorrow about 7:00.

The ultimate in social distancing!

Just got back from our "seniors hours" at the local food mart. They are now temporarily waiving the NY bag law because they don't want people bringing their reusable bags from home into the grocery stores. They are putting the groceries in plastic bags again.....and not charging for them!
