I couldn't help myself. I had to do it. I got a coat of wax on the boat today and cleaned up the glass.:D:D:D

Lol

By the time this thing is over, I suspect we will all have cleaner boats.

Lots of time to clean, wax, and polish.

So why do I find myself putting it off?.... my wife reminded me last weekend I was done with the boat at this time last year.... this year I haven’t even started... I am still working so that explains it...but a different sense of urgency this year

Got tired of working on it and it is still broke as well as one of our cars and our motor home all with electrical issues it really sucks.

Recreational Boating is suspended in Maryland. Unless you are seeking food for your family by using your boat to go get it or catch it. So oil up those rods, drag some lead or anchor out and toss a hook in the water. May or may not want to catch a fish, but at least if you do you have dinner and you are following the rules. Don't forget your fishing license. :D

Marina is closed, talked to west marine guy yesterday says they have blockaded the road into the marina. The coasties were pulling over any fisherman with more than 2 people in the boat and issuing tickets for not socially distancing. No buffing No waxing No bottom paint on her,and i am sure when this is over i will have to kill someone to get a day off to do all that.I have been off for two days so far and miss being at work already. The wife is working from home so that puts a whole different twist on things also.

I have less time than usual to get ready. I thought that working from home would give me more time to get to the boat in the evening but so far that’s not the case. Somehow my weekends have been evaporating too.

Soo...you like the Zues pods? How's she handle around the docks :)

No bottom paint? You must keep it on a lift (in your bedroom)?
I haven't had any problems with them yet. Only problem I've had so far is with the batteries. I replace them a lot more than I do on my other boats. As far as the bottom paint, I lift the boat every time I take it out and dry it off. I don't store in the water so no need for bottom paint.:D

I’ve got both sides polished with two coats of wax on them. Topsides washed.
Sanded the bottom, painted it and installed new zincs on hull, tabs and thruster.
Took six days working alone, but it’s been nice getting fresh air while practicing social distancing in the boatyard.

Is your thruster a Vetus? If so Where do you get them?
Thanks

Man that took you along time:D. I did mine after work one evening. I didn't have to bottom paint or do the zinc's though. I guess it's just one of the advantages of being able to lift it out and dry it off after every use. I usually store it back in the box to keep the dust off it. Try to pick up the pace next season. :D:D:D
