I feel disappointed for you guys who are dry docked because this damned virus. In the end it will be worth it. Hang in there.
I have everything to be thankful for.
I do not have the virus.
No one in my family has the virus.
I still have a job - and a great one.
I refuse to whine because I can’t take my own boat out for a fishing trip.
See the picture of my day job. Like I said, I have a lot to be thankful for.
What do you have to be thankful for? Mind sharing it? Help us reduce some stress.

I'm thankful that I Still have my job, and still getting paid to stay home.
Me too... Nice to be essential, and just as of Friday, working from home!

I understand that many many people are hurting and many are dying, including in the area around me, but I've learned that I like my stay-at-home life better than my normal life.

I like sleeping in my own bed every night. I like cooking my own food instead of another night of Chilis or Olive Garden. I like getting out for a walk in the forest every day instead of getting my only steps in an airport. I dont like the fact that my kids' lives have been disrupted, but I like having them home. I like the fact that the roads are quiet.

We should be putting the final touches to get the boat ready to launch but that is at least a month away. That's ok - if it keeps people safe I can wait.

I’m lucky to have two jobs. I work outdoors at a private gated community golf course. Probably the only course in Indiana that is open.

Only 40 or so people play. I can go a week and see less than a handful of players. Play has picked up since most are at home. Saw 3 Friday. Everyone has their own golf cart, no club house. They just come down and start playing.

Also own a Landscaping business. Just me, myself and I. Started taking care of my Moms yard and next thing I know I’m taking care of 10 houses on her street. 30 all together. I can ride my mower to a majority of my customers.

I am thankful to be alive and living in this great country of ours. Thank you to all Veterans, health care, grocery store workers, LEO’s etc. Apologize, I am sure I left other important people out.

Today, we took a walk on a popular walking path in Indiana, The Monon. I randomly placed some Americans Flags. Plan on putting more.

God Bless America

I'm thankful that me and my wife still have jobs, all of our kids and family are safe so far and not much has changed in our lives other than staying home all the time.

Here is my office but no pics of my work screens. I work on a federal contract and have a clearance so not taking a chance on taking pics of those screens...lol

We are always happy when our feet hit the floor in the morning. Love having my grand boys home everyday. 400 yards away.
We washed the boat today at the marina. They fished in the creek on the farm. We have much to be thankful for.
Hoping for normal.

I feel very lucky to have my health and a large support network of friends who live nearby who are the best one could ask for.

My wife and I are relatively healthy, no virus, we're being safe and sticking close to home. My MIL is 104 years old and living in a long term care facility. It's closed so we can't visit be we do Facetime with her about every other day. At 104 she doesn't understand what's going on, she just knows that we can't come to visit any more.

I have a wife who loves me and takes good care of me, a dog that thinks I walk on water and life is pretty darn good.

I took this photo last June shortly after Sailor adopted us. Last night he crawled up on the bed, snuggled up against me and lay his head on my arm. If that ain't love I don't know what is.

I’m thankful to be retired now and and fortunate that my retirement income is not impacted by this.
My wife still works, but I would have secretly been thankful if they furloughed her or let her go since I’ve been trying to get her to stop working since I retired 3 years ago.

I’m grateful for the opportunity I had six years ago to shift my career path from owning an aviation repair shop to teaching aviation maintenance at the local community college. I now am tenured and being paid thru this down time unlike the chap I sold my shop to. His biggest customer and business mainstay is a medium size flight school that is shuttered. He will survive but it will leave a mark for sure.
Carpe Diem

Those that are not ill or still alive are fortunate. I have a brother in law in a hospital waiting to go into a nursing home. He can not be moved now as the hospital has the virus and no place will take him. If he gets sick he will probably die. We feel very fortunate to be back home from 80 days in Panama without being sick. We got out 2 days before all airports in Panama were closed. We are sitting in front of the fireplace drinking hot chocolate. As to retirement funds they are down but we are fortunate compared to some that have lost their jobs and savings.

Chili’s Fajitas or Olive Garden Spaghetti with meatballs and a single link of Italian Sausage. Oh...when this ends, I have a tough choice to make!

I'm thankful for just about everything.Being self employed I do not have a pay check coming every week as many do but what I've learned in my 63 years on this planet ( rainy days do come) and putting away for that time no matter what the reason is vital!
So far myself and family have our health and money can't buy good health.
What we do have is faith in God to see all of us through this during this terrible time knowing he will provide now and in the next life to come. This to me is a wake-up call and we better get on his good side ASAP if not already.

THINK ABOUT IT.....
