Is your Marina considered an essential business?

And we're done....

My step son is living in a motorhome in the parking lot at a consumers power facility in Armada MI,they call it work arrest and he may be there until at least the end of april. No visitors allowed .His wife is pissed as is our 2 year old grandaughter.

Went out on the boat this afternoon. Glorious weather. Got takeout from the marina. Fuel dock was a madhouse. They are only allowing one boat to fuel at a time for distancing. People were getting a little heated with the wait. Everyone was staying a safe distance including the dockhand pumping the gas.

I talked on the phone today with the owner of the marina that works on my boat. He and his son are the only employees working. They take boats in by appointment, then the boats sit for 72 hours before they even look at it. There is no human-to-human contact and when they are done with the boat they call the owner, he gives then a credit card number then picks up his boat.

It's a different way of doing business but in these trying days businesses have to reinvent themselves if they want to survive.

That's exactly what we'll have to do for a while. Keep our distance from each other -- which frankly I don't mind. :) But at least we could get on our boat.

We don’t hear or know what people are going thru in the background to keep the country going.. which is pretty sad.

Seems social and main stream media is more focused on who’s to blame, how bad it is and how poorly it’s being managed. The frustrating part is no one is talking about China and wet markets and holding them accountable... no it’s Trumps fault

There are concerns being raised about China and their role in this. Unfortunately it's being drowned out by those with an agenda and a narrative.
