Hi all, my wife and I recently inherited a 1985 sea ray 300 sedan bridge. We are going to have to ship the boat cross country and can't seem to find a measurement for the height of the boat (keel to top of bridge). We live out West and the boat is currently on the East coast so we can't quite go out and measure it ourselves :) Can anyone help?

That's what I wondered, I think it had to be delivered that way. Do you know if that is something that can be done by hardworking amateurs, or is that a job for a professional?
 
Hello Did a quick online search and couldn't locate the specs on that model and year. I would have professionals do the dismantle and shipping preparsation. A lot of horror stories out there. This may be a bit forward of me but you might want to consider the overall value of the vessel against the cost of the prep, shipping, and reassembly on your end.
 
E22, On the old site a very nice and ambitious gentleman bought a 300SD in Florida took up to NC to do a partial refit and then drove it to the west Coat. Did nothing special or extra as I recall? Pulled it with a brand new F300. He had no troubles. I think/may have a picture I screened shot of the setup? Good luck. JC
