I am in the process of purchasing a 2001 Sea Ray 185 Bowrider Sport. I will need to repair a pad on the rear seating. The hull # is SERV4500A101.Where can I find the code for the fabric color used by Sea Ray?

Even if you found the code you'd never match the vinyl. A 2 year old boat would have faded a bit, let alone 19 years.

Find a local canvas/upholstery shop and they will recommend the best course of action for a good, quality repair. If matching colors is your primary objective I'd bet a few bacon double cheeseburgers they will recommend you replace all surrounding vinyl...

I replaced vinyl on some areas in our 2004 boat... The shop matched it perfectly...new and old up against each other and you couldn't tell the differance. Like mentioned go to a good canvas/upholstery shop and get their opinion

No kidding..that's impressive! Was it interior or exterior?

I don't have really good pics. The helm seat looks like the Michelin man with sections. The top with the searay logo was left original and the armrest section was replaced and the section above...the rest left original and you cant tell the difference. The passenger seat up front was left original....the U shaped cockpit seating aft was all replaced new.... again you cant tell new from old
