Who's NOT boating this season due to COVID?

Sad video Mark, your great city will RISE AGAIN!!!!

Thanks and the country as a whole will also rise from this and hopefully be a little better prepared to handle the next one...
Being born & raised here and I worked downtown for 15 years it is just weird to see it so empty.

Just got this in my email. Might be worth a watch?

NY closed marinas, launches, and golf courses today as part of the governors update. The current end date is 4/29 but I’m sure that’ll get extended.

State wide or isolated places?

I heard it happened in Syracuse, but not down here in the southern Fingers. Yet.

Where in Ohio....I am buying a boat in Cincinnati and delayed waiting for them to put the boat in the water. Marinas were closed down!
You will be able to get fuel at my marina, spoke to him today. Dosen’t matter what time it is.

Michigan Governor extended us today to April 30th and implied heavily that it'll probably be extended again. Sounded like she tightened the screws a bit but she did open car dealerships. Thankfully car dealership have less contact with people outside your immediate family than me and my family on my boat...... They must have better lobbyist than marinas.
Gretchen is obviously battling boat envy... I hate to quote the President but this governor is way over her head.

Any politician who isn't eyeing a May first "reopening" should be removed from office. I'm not saying a full monty everyone in the pool opening, but with proper social distancing, face masks, etc.
I’m not disagreeing. But.... Maybe we should see where we stand first? Any arbitrary dates serve our own interests; I think the status of the virus in real time should direct decisions in this mess.

Our Safe Harbor marina in Greenport Long Island has been closed for over two weeks with no idea when they will reopen or allow anyone in the yard. Our boat is on the hard and we are not permitted to not enter the marina. I understand the “why” but at the same time feel like the we the boat owners are being held hostage since we can’t get to our boats/ property

Sir, I have to call BS on your 2nd comment in that post. I about missed it.

I was going to uncover and get busy this weekend with my usual early May splash.

At this point I think I’ll just go with it in the hopes that’s the delay doesn’t last too long.

My marina is run by a municipality and I thought I saw an exception for that.

So far, our marina in Benicia is open for business, Not a full service facility with a yard but the office is open and fuel and overnight berthing has not been restricted in the least.

I don't disagree, but some of these clowns are cancelling summer.

Exactly. Mine is in a "state park." They have barricaded the short road in. I can't even get close. It's unconstitutional in my book.
