Ohh man...I've been talking about doing this for years! So cool.

Do you have volume control at the speakers at all?

If/when I do this I plan to mount the speaker (only one for me) on a swivel so I can use it while grilling at the marina. I slip bow-in and always wish I could have some quiet tunes nearby.

Nice install!

No volume control yet... That is phase 4 of my plans when I go to the Fusion head unit with multi zone control from my phone. For now it has its own channel on the amp.

Looks great. I like how they can tuck away out of the elements when not in use. Mine are mounted aft facing on the bow rails. With the fusion app I can adjust volume separately for this zone. It is nice to have music up on the bow.

@ocgrant - That is a brilliant idea! How did you mount them? Did you drill all the way through and bolt them or did you mount them some other way?
Well I can't take the credit for that as fellow member here Zach312 did them first. Yes I through bolted them. I was going to use counter sink 1/4-20's but after drilling I found the glass to be a little thin for my liking as it has a 1/4 foam core between top and bottom glass. I didn't feel comfortable using counter sink bolts with the weight and pounding but regular pan heads and washers didn't look good either and stood up too far. Then looking in my drawers of stainless hardware I found hurricane panel bolts. They are perfect, big flat head and just needed to be cut to length. You can get them on Amazon

I like the location and look, but I’m too lazy now to run anymore wires on this boat.im assuming you went behind all the walls, cabinets etc?

Nope... put a a/b switch on the forward stateroom speakers and used those wires. 10 minute solution and no wire runs. I agree with you I wouldn’t have done it if I didn’t figure out this solution.
