Does anyone pull their PWC behind their boat. I just bought a new Sea Doo spark for the kids and want to pull it behind my 240 sundancer (mostly at cocktail speed) Surprisingly there’s little information on the internet about doing it. I would like to mount a rigid hitch on the swim platform.

I pulled mine at cocktail speed every weekend for years.

We bought a towdster for towing ours.
Haven’t used it yet.

DO NOT tow a spark! I have one and was told that water will be pushed into the engine people have installed a valve inline to keep this from happening but I have not seen it .

It’s a simple fix, no biggy. You can even get by just pinching the hose off . I ordered a valve to install on ours.

Will do. Ordered it off amazon. $23

Here is the pinch off tool, works well also.

Should be totally fine with the precautions list above. I took the big boat out just last week, anchored up, drove the dinghy back in, got the Scout, and towed the dinghy back no problem. It was actually pretty fun!

RBB, is there any truth you bought that color to match your pink Crocs?:cool::cool::cool::cool::cool:c
Yes sir, I like being color coordinated.
I am also color blind.

Post pics when you do it I’ve wanted to tow it a few times
From what I understand you can put a ball valve inline and mount it where you have easy access through the battery door. It’s also recommended that you hook your lanyard on it so you can’t forget to turn it back on. I would like some recommendations on a rigid hitch for pulling a PWC.

I have an H30 on my 44DA, they work really well, very much recommend them. Extremely well built and engineered and fantastic pre and post sales support.
What do you carry on it? The video shows it holding a Spark but the specs say 400 lb capacity? I'm thinking the H30+ for a PWC...
