I would like to ask if anyone has any upgrades ad/or modifications they would like to share, post them here. I'd like to get some ideas for future upgrades

I changed the cupholders to stainless in the cockpit this evening and will be changing over the sink and faucet to match (sink came damaged). I was impressed at the visual improvements from just cupholders.

Thanks all, show me what I should do next!

Couple new teak tables to replace bridge table, it just took up to much room.

I’ve posted this before, but in case you missed it...Flooring and new stainless steel fridges...
Also, simrad evo3, and 4G Radar, with stainless steel mount and LED anchor light (which reminds me, I need to remove the stern light on the transom hatch, it is redundant with the 360 degree anchor light, and probably confusing to other boater, and probably illegal per boast guard...)
New VHF radio, and then covered old NSS vhf hole with matching burl plate, and installed usb phone charger where the cord connected to the dash.

Sweet!

Stee6043, the underneath extra bunk? Was it simply done and worth the effort?? We have talked about doing the same but concerned insufficient room top and bottom for suitable comfort. Understand it would be tight but is it still practical? Have the 450DA so maybe little bit more room. Anyone experienced in doing this or other ideas for creating extra berth?

I did it on my 340 and again on my 400. Quite simple, and 1000% worth it. I have three young kids and this is a life changing upgrade. I can't afford a boat with three proper berths so this is how we get it done :). I've slept adults back there as well, no issues.

2x4 frame, plywood base, quality hinges and cheapo foam cut to size. I had some left over EVA foam I used around the edges to protect the vinyl on the bench in the boat. Wicked easy. In a 450 maybe you could even get away without the hinge with your extra beam.

Thanks so much for the insight, absolutely will look at. Excuse my ignorance, but the purpose of the hinges?.

You would only find you need the hinges after trying for an hour to get the bunk into position in once piece. Then you'd return home, frustrated, to cut the bunk and add the hinges :)

On my 400 there is not enough room to swing the bunk into position in one piece. A painful reality I was not initially prepared to accept...

Ahhh, ok. Just looking hard at the pictures, are the 4 x 2 not hinged? Might look at upholstering them to match everything. We have measured out previously and was a bit concerned height in the top bunk would be so limited, wouldn’t be practical. Looking at yours, could work.

Where did you order the stainless cup holders from? Really surprised how much more appealing that simple change point looks. I think i'm going to do the same

Look no further than Amazon.com. You can get 'em by the 4 pack for cheap...

Well, went ahead and did the same little upgrade as the OP. Have really only done the cup holders and replaced the cockpit carpet for my first season with this boat.

Has anybody drilled out another 2 holes in a table like this? We often have 4 people sitting there and it is annoying as heck not having 2 more cup holders. Can't see there being an issue with it?
