Made a few minor changes this week. Removed the useless lazy Susan and replaced it with a shelf. Added a shelf to the big cabinet under the stove. Replaced a faded piece of laminate with a piece from the old fridge. And added two batteries a charger and an inverted under the master to run the new tv and a blender

Looks nice! That shelf vs lazy susan is slick. Nice idea.

I like the shelves!! I've contemplated doing the same. I guess I'll have to add another project t the list.

I’ve received all 4 screens and gaskets. I will take my time upon replacement. Hoping to do this next week some time. I’ll keep everyone posted. Thanks for the heads up!

Has anyone documented the process of replacing the screen in the hidden/fake porthole?

Mine is now shredded, but I'm struggling to find the motivation to tear apart the cupboard...

I never open my portholes so I fixed mine with a razor blade;). I just cut the screens out. Now my windows get cleaned everytime I wash the boat.

here are some pics and dimensions. I think a filler could be constructed DIY from some basic 3” marine foam. Over all it 62” long, 8” wide and 6” deep. The step on either side is 3” deep and 11 1/2” wide. There is a bevel on the front side that matches the top of the seat back once laid down...maybe 15 deg.

Thanks for the detailed pictures Dave! I am missing that piece for sure.

I used the razor method. We find having a galley screen useful, but the material I found at HD is so dark that it almost disappears. I was concerned about one window having a screen and the other not matching it, but it looks fine. One less project!

First post. Have been lurking for a bit. Bought a 2000 410EC in April. Thought I'd drop in and to share that the boarding ladder can be a pain to find parts for. It was made by GG Scmitt. If you need the sliding pieces, it's available directly via kit part number L08E3105.

Nice. And welcome! Share some pics of your vessel or the folks around here will assume you've got a Bayliner with Sea Ray badging :)

IM GETTING A SURVEY

OK!!!! Well I signed a contract on a 03-410 DA TODAY !! It has the 3126 diesels (my first time diesels ) IM VERY Nervous, yet excited , the boat DOES HAVE THE ALL FIBERGLASS HULL , verified by Sea Ray ,
Anything I need to know about About the diesels , the boat itself , we have maintenance records , the genny 7.3 diesels (Westerbeke)
All info welcome and needed , I’ve always has gas ⛽️ motors
May be questions I should ask the cat diesel expert while we’re checking the boat and the motors out

Today I joined the ranks and signed the closing paperwork for a really nice 2000 400 Sundancer with 3116 Cats. I am in the industry and have looked for a while to find the right boat since my previous boat was so perfect for us, lifestyle changed and ended up getting thrown in the mix to buy a different style boat.

I ended up stumbling upon a beautiful 2000 400 Sundancer with 740 hours on the mains and always kept in the Great Lakes. The owner has done some nice upgrades over time and I intend to make the boat even better. She surveyed very well with only some minor issues that I will resolve quickly.

Looking forward to making the run from Grand Haven to New Buffalo on Friday afternoon! The "Kristy Lynn" will soon become "Enabler".

Nice! Looks familiar...like one of us four or five 400 owners of this vintage at Grand Isle. I wish I was headed out there today, I'd offer a hand!

Enjoy that 400!

Thank you, I must have walked by your boat the other day a few times. I was admiring a few of the 400s and 410s there.

There are three of us down in the single digit slip #'s over on the riverside. Two gassers, one diesel. We're trying to keep from being overtaken by the Ocean's right at the guardshack :)
