I have noticed small leaks from several of my portholes including the deck window. I do not know which port lights these are as I don't have a parts manual for that boat. Does anyone know and where I can buy gaskets for these? I am hoping changing the gaskets will solve the problem. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks, Jeff. I'll give them a call.

After reading up on this, it seems the port lights are re-bedded just using silicone and not a gasket between the window and the hull, but do you also change the gasket inside the port light that the screen is closed against when doing this operation?

The part # P100-04-RETRO there made by Bomar who was bought by Pompanette any Sea Ray dealer can order them sometimes they won't sell to the public.

It's a pain but follow the suggestion in this thread keep track of every screw you remove they are cut to fit your portlight.

before you replace the gaskets you may want to try and tighten the screws on the retainers that hold the windows tightly sealed.....sometimes just a sight tightening of these screws is enough to press the window harder against the gasket and stop a leak....it worked on my boat....

When I bought mine 2 years ago, I bought a kit which included a new screen and a new rubber seal for the screen.
I bought direct from the number listed above for apx $22 per kit.
I didn't have any leaks from the outside, I bought because my screens were bad.

I've added a few pics of the process and a few tips for doing this job.

You don't need to take the frame apart or remove and screws. Grab a small regular screwdriver and gently pry out the old gasket. Capture 6

Once you have a corner pried loose just pull the gasket out of the frame. Capture 5

I used a product made by Goo Gone to remove the glue from the frame after the old gasket was removed. I don't like the smell of Acetone and didn't want to risk spilling it on any vinyl in the cabin. Goo Gone is safe for any material and smells like citrus. It worked as well as the Acetone. Capture 7 & Capture 4

Once the frame is clean, take a new gasket and make sure the groove for the screen is on the inside. Locate the orange tape on the back and notice where the gasket is glued together. This seam needs to be installed at the top of the frame where it will not be sitting in water. Peel off the orange tape and begin to press the gasket into the frame. DON'T stretch the gasket as you install. Capture 2 & Capture 3

The dogs will need to be adjusted to allow for the thickness of the new gasket.

If you're doing these windows on a 330 DA start with the one over the microwave as it's the hardest to reach. Then do the ones over the dinette and then the one in the head.

Part # S616-GASKET-GLUD

Ordered 4. Arrived today. Ready for a spring project.
I finally got around to installing the screens. Boater420’s instructions were helpful. I used a rag with Acetone to clean out the old glue out of the fames. Installing the new gasket was pretty easy. The new separate screens with plastic frames does make the viewing area of the portholes smaller than the old style with the gasket holding the screen. But they are removable so next change will be easier???

Nice to not have screens with gaping holes.

I recently purchased new ones but I have not put them on yet but it took a look. It looks like it would be difficult to get to the top of the seal without removing the porthole glass did you remove the porthole glass first or were you able to get the seal up at the top?

I removed the glass. Made access easier. Took about 1.5 hrs to do all 4. The glue does not come off easily even with acetone.

Creekwood where did you order your gasket and retrofit kit from? I'm looking at Go2Marine, and their website quotes 8 weeks out before they ship.

Thanks!

I ordered mine a long time ago in late winter so I cannot recall where I ordered them from. I may have the receipt in email at home.

I appreciate it. Found them from another source and ordered today. Should be here by the weekend!

Lacquer thinner takes the glue off, just watch what else you get it on.
