Trump Derangement Syndrome always makes me laugh. ‘This is a most Uncharitable Description for a man who succeeded in two very tough fields, International real estate and Hollywood. Then he was smart and skilled enough to Beat all comers to win a Presidential election only 45 men in history have accomplished. Yep, he is a dumb ass, just keep telling yourself that. LOL

I do not respect or admire Donald Trump as a President. Neither does about half the USA and the vast majority of the rest of the world. Personal business success does not make you a good politician. He is an aggressive businessman. He is a “shoot first, think later” guy. Some of those characteristics work as President, some do not. Same for his business record. The US electoral process in November will be the test of whether the majority of the US believes he is what is best for the US. That’s the most important thing for the US. Maybe he will win again. Maybe not. If he loses, will his legacy be that he was one of the most admired Presidents the US has ever had? I highly doubt it. I think the GOP will be on him like pit bulls on a bichon.

Why would anyone want their countries leader to be liked? I want them to be a respected negotiator on MY COUNTRIES behalf. I am glad you liked Obama and thought he was likable. He was the worst negotiator on the planet.

So a shoot first, think later, kind of guy just blindly falls into succeeding in three very tough endeavors? Keep thinking that. You do not know anything about Trump, just parroting media narrative.

I do not know him either, but I am savvy enough in business to understand that he is a street fighter who does not suffer fools.

Who and why would they care what the GOP thinks? The GOP is supposed to care what its voters think. The GOP has failed its voters badly prior to trump, which is why he beat All of the traditional GOP candidates in the primary.

he has delivered more of what the GOP candidates have promised in my lifetime than any other president. But I do not get bogged down with petty day today “he said that” crap. I just want to know what did he do, particularly considering all that his administration has been through and up against, he has delivered a ton.

I didn’t say “liked”. I said admired. Very different. It’s not about likability and I didn’t use that term deliberately. And I didn’t “like” Obama either. I admired his moral fibre but not his politics. He was not effective but I don’t believe he was regressive. Like I said I am a small c conservative in the US context. Here in Canada I am firmly conservative.
