Need help!! Calling all Experienced Mechanics!!!

25 year old injectors would be my guess, especially with all that crap in your vst.

Are there times when the engine runs perfectly fine? When you shut it off at that point, restarting is an issue?

Yes, it will run great, it seems as though when it heats up that all the issues start. I even put in another blower, one coming in and one out to circulate the air. And yes, restarting in the MAIN issue. It will run fine, then when I shut it off and try to restart it just turns over and over. If it does start, when I give it full throttle to plain out, it will either cut off or cut in and out like its flooding.

My bet is still on the IAC. Could be a combo of injectors and IAC. Both are cheap to do.

Merc OEM injectors were $165 ea. 2 years ago when I needed some. Be very aware of the Chinese knock offs. Bought some from this guy who was a regular on OSO for less than a $100 per. John 817-658-7721.

Holy s!$! that's some payday! What about sending them to get cleaned? Also, how do I get to them? Is it pretty straight forward or real technical?

One last (HOPEFULLY) question, do I have to drain all the water in my engine to take of the plenum and then injectors?

No water there. Those plastic injectors can get very brittle and break easily and also fail electrically.

I seem to recall the plenum has to come off to get the throttle body off because it hits the valve cover if you don't? Once you pull the throttle body you can change the IAC. I would still recommend trying that first before going all in.

Agree, go for the low hanging fruit first.

Yeah, I think that's the smart approach. I just ordered the IAC. Should be here Tues. or Wed... I really hope that's all it is. I remember the Boat shop saying that it was something and it was going to cost $1500 for just one part...I hope whatever that is....I don't run into that cost....

What are the breakers called that mount on the back wall and control the Exhaust Solenoids? I can't find any but the one on the right that's a push button CDM 10Amp...

I added another pic that u can see the numbers on. I can't find this relay anywhere at all using the numbers on it. What relay could I switch these with? I have 2. Just curious on the amp and rating can I use? Example... can I use a 12VDC 40 Amp fuse in its place? What the safest and strongest one I can use?

I don't understand what you're trying to do. It looks like a standard Bosch 30amp +/- relay. Is it broken?

Yes, each one has a pin that doesn't work. They are hooked up to control my exhaust. I just need to replace both. Trying to find a similar match since I can't find this same exact one. I just didn't want to get something under/over power, if that's possible..

10-4....just what I needed! Tks! .....again..lol

Well went ahead and replaced the IAC and not even the slightest improvement...ugh... I guess I'll take the plenum off and take the fuel Injectors out and send them off to get cleaned...it was horrible hot out today and as soon as I started it, she purred like a cat. I shut it off for about 4-5 minutes and then started it back up and I couldn't get the idle down from 4k...turned it off and it started it back up and everything was fine, until, WOT and she kept cutting out intermittently. When I backed the throttle off, everytime I backed it off the engine cut out for a split second.....I just don't know.....I'm tired...lol

Doesn't sound like injectors anymore but cleaning and testing is still a good idea. Did you get the ecm scanned? TPS value? Could be the ecm itself. Mefi 1? Sometime the IAC circuit can burn out in it. High idle and then normal. tps or iac . throttle cable not sticking?
