BTW...I did not do the tower speakers, as I didn't want to look at them. I would think they would add a lot of presence.

Yes I have a full JL system and JL sub each have their own amps.... wanted to add the torpedos to the arch or transoms if I do transoms I’ll do a separate amp and switch out my fusion head unit for volume control reasons but was curious if i have to do the same for the torpedos

Full in about 40 minutes. Keeps the cubes well. I have the old one off of my 280 DA that was too big to fit it that spot and it does not keep ice as well as this one does.

Help on Lofrans Progress 1 Windlass
I have a 2003 320 Dancer with a Lofrans Progress 1 Windlass - which is a real challenge to say the least - the finger is giving me fits - I have that handled but I need to replace the RODE - I have read 1/2"(14mm) Rope and 8mm 5/16" Chain and I have read 5/8" Rope and 5/16" Chain - also 3 Plait or 8 Plait - I will take recommendations that don't include me spending $2500 to upgrade to the Progress 1000

Pics are also appreciated. Tell me what you have used successfully.

The parts manual for 07 tells me to use 9/16” rope with 5/16” chain for Lofrans, that’s pretty standard, have you tried that? I’m guessing the 03 is the same, but not certain...

I believe I replaced mine with matching wiper blade lengths (20” is what I purchased if I recall) from an auto parts store. I never use them though, so that pair just rotted after zero use. I should purchase a new set, but keep them in the box until I need them, then install as the rain pours down...

They are indeed 20" automotive style wipers widely available. Similarly, I only replaced them because they were shedding black all over my hands when I touched them.

Surprised they are not “boat” only wipers, and to replace them, you either buy what is essentially an automotive wiper but costs 100$ per blade, or you upgrade and get the Stainless Steel wipers for 300$ Per blade.

I went from a 24’ deck boat to a 320, and I needed a captain. I chose poorly though, he ran aground and bent a prop...but learned quite a bit. Would not have felt comfortable crossing the gulf by myself.

First boat, first time everything. Was a 15 hours trip (2 hours on conn river, over night at a marina + 6am to 7:30pm
The following night + 3 fueling stops. I think my $500 for both days was well spent. Wound up being less then the $2k quotes land shipping quote I had that was another week out. Learned plenty AND had a good memory.

My first time at the helm with just me and the family, trying to navigate the small creek on the way to Tampa Bay, the bow, and the boat in general, seemed huge and there were boats on either side of the creek. Was not comfortable at all.

I’ve looked around, nothing. Maybe call MarineMax in your area? The part number for my boat is 1666122, not sure if it is the same for your boat...

The lost engine vent cover makes me think I should remove mine and reinstall them to insure they don’t fall off...
