There looks to be issues with the hot water heater and ceramic range in the galley

I’m pretty sure it’s an 11 gallon hot water heater and a 110 ceramic range not sure of the manufactures

What would I be looking at if I were to replace these myself
the owner seems to just want to lower the price and not repair
Any ideas and thoughts thank you

Not sure on the stove top, I haven't seen these to be an issue.
The water heater is an easy (relatively) change, there are readily available replacements.

The water heater, I believe, is aft of the generator and can be quite the effort to remove and replace (at least that was the configuration on my 2000 400DA) There was someone on this forum that replaced theirs and posted that effort. But I believe the generator has to be lifted out first... Here is a picture of one in a 400DA to give you a sense of scale.
The range is "glued" to the countertop and a very thin blade needs to be used to separate the old one from the counter.

I think Kenyon still makes that stovetop, which is interesting because it's about a 25 year old design and even much bigger boats all seem to be fitted with 2-burner units these days...

Are you looking at a gas or diesel 410? I believe the replacement of the water heater will be far less dramatic on the gas version. Though still something I'd prefer negotiate into a purchase deal vs DIY after the fact.

On my 2001 410 DA with 3126’s, the water heater is on the port side in the front of the engine room. It appears it can be removed fairly easily.

However, what is the issue? It could be Just the element needs replacing, or other minor issue. These fitting are also known to leak a little and easily replaced. Fitting and pex pipe are metric FYI.

I have to ask why the 2-90's connected together?

The accumulator was leaking and I removed a bunch of hose/fittings from a previous owners deactivated water maker. It’s what I had on hand that worked. You will see this type of connection in these systems.

Before you get too focused on replacing the cooktop check the safety switch. It has a little switch to disconnect power of the cooktop is on while the cover is in place.

Folks thank you so much! It is diesel and the water heater is port side fwd
Owner is looking at elements etc

I changed my HWH last year. No fun at all but an afternoon’s work and about $300 in materials.

Definitely a DIY job but your seller doesn’t need to know that. If you’re limber and ambitious do it. If not get the cost of doing so knocked off of the sale price.

Then do it yourself. ;)

Never use the stove. It takes too long to boil water. I use a butane burner and placed a removable cutting board over stove

Both are easy to replace if necessary. If HW heater is not leaking and the only complaint is no hot water then it’s probably the element.
If it is leaking, then it needs replacement. Removing the port exhaust hoses will make the job easier.
If the cooktop is not turning on then I would make sure it is getting power. Other than dropping something on them and smashing the top, those things are pretty reliable. It’s much more likely to be a safety switch with crud in it or a bad breaker in the panel.

It takes 6 hours to replace hot water tank on our boat. New tank cost 500. It was very accessible. Make sure you get detail drawing of it before you start work try to get same connection configuration.

I will add my +1 to @JVM225's response. Many time the water heater element burns out because someone left it on without water in the tank. Many times this is a quick inexpensive fix and you may even be able to find the elements at Homedepot or Lowes.

The ceramic stovetops are also pretty straight forward and if all elements are out I would test for power at the unit and if none then trace back.

Neither of these would prevent me from buying a boat otherwise in good shape.

My hot water tank has a reset switch buried in the insulation. Took off the panel pushed the button and voila, hot water next time on shore power... I had turned it on without running the hot water first.
