Not sure what caused this leak but it feels a bit dented-in in this area.

Not sure if it’s worth a patch or replace the tube.

I believe it is 8” x 4’ Stainless Tube.

Thoughts? Experience?

You might also consider the high temp fiberglass which so many yards are going to on the wet side.Mine were done this spring in DVL.

John:
Did you replace both of your 8"x 4’ Stainless Steel Straight tubes or the Elbows?

Update- so I spoke to DeAngelo. They gave me a few tips and a plan to get by until the new parts come in.
1) Spin the exhaust tube to where the leak is on top. That will allow the hole to dry out and (stop leaking) then he said to patch with 5200 or really any of the other patches mentioned above. As Tom said the pipe is eating itself away from the inside probably because a lack of a bonding wire.
2) He gave me a quote $380 for each side. Mine are original so I probably will do both sides.
3) Neither port nor starboard exhaust tube have a bonding wire attached. Weird thing is Starboard side had a extra green wire not connected, so that’s easy. The port side doesn’t have a Green bond wire that I can find. Not sure if it is acceptable to jump from one component to the next with bond wires.?.

I think mine is daisy chained from the bonding wire attached to the mounting foot of the AC raw water pump. My AC raw water pump has been changed to a large Oberdorfer pump so the bonding wiring has also been modified and may not be like yours.
