Monoplex is a company that made various electronic devices. The device they made for the generator is a start sequencer, the device for lighting is a latching relay, and they made a controller for the motorized sofa to bed used in many boats. I don't think they are even in business anymore; Sea Ray started using similar electronic devices from Intellitec in the early 2000's. I believe the Monoplex generator start sequencer was only used on Westerbeke generators for a couple of years; if you have a spare, hang on to it..... The later generators have electronic controls and integral start sequencing.Sorry for the bad info, wouldn't think there was more than one use for these things. I don't know why they needed to add one for the genny either. Lights? I don't get it. Anyway thanks for the info.
If they went out of business and you need one for the lights, how would you solve this switching problem? Thanks for the insight.Monoplex is a company that made various electronic devices. Exactly and that happened to me when the boat was struck by lightning; fried all of the latching relays. I found and installed these and they are suitable replacements that wire in exactly like the Monoplex latching relays:If they went out of business and you need one for the lights, how would you solve this switching problem?
