Well weather looks good and we are off departing Friday morning to make our way to a day in Miami and Biscayne Bay for the then spending the night in Grove Harbor Marina. Then Saturday Morning we are planning on making our way to Post Card Inn slowly stopping for a couple of dives and enjoying the day. There are 3 of us in Sea Rays 48, 46, 32 making the trip. Looking forward to a great weekend relaxing and enjoying good friends and the Boating Life.... Heading back to Ft Lauderdale Tuesday Morning.

Sounds like a great trip - may be coming down this weekend to look at a boat in Vero Beach - Do you happen to know anyone renting out a 40' dock in the ft lauderdale area?

Have a great trip Grant!
Enjoy and relax!

Not right at the moment but I will keep my eyes open.

You know what they say, without pictures it did not happen. Have fun and be safe.

Have a great trip. Weather is looking nice this weekend. I stayed at Postcard last summer (via land) right after the reopening from Irma, thought they did a great job, was still coming together. I hope to make it by boat someday so will love to hear how it went.

Hi ocgrant. Have fun. We live across the street from the Post Card Inn. Where are you keeping your boats while at St. Pete Beach?

In their marina...

First day was great... Made it to Nixon beach for a fun day on the sand bar then headed Grove marina. Cooked up a great meal and enjoyed the evening with friends. Walked over to the Grove and while it was there with COVID it was not like it should be this time of year. Today we head south for Post Card Inn, making some stops along the way

He's going to the Postcard Inn in Islamorada. The old Holiday Isle Resort.
I bet you know who Stormbringer is.

Great run yesterday out the Biscayne channel and down Hawks Channel. Stopped at a couple reefs for some snorkeling and fun. Made it to Post Card Inn late afternoon.

Looks like a great trip so far!

Yesterday was perfect... no wind, flat seas and 100 feet of viz at 25 feet deep. Spent the whole day a mile offshore with friends and family diving, floating, jet skiing and drone flying. The water is so clear you can see the bottom, absolutely stunning.... My son took a whole bunch of great drone footage and he plans to put together a good video when we get back. Looking to do the same today.

Well made it back Tuesday night to home in Ft Lauderdale. Great trip home no weather and flat seas.... Overall fantastic time and really enjoyed the Post Card Inn facilities. Definately we will go back again. I enjoyed the vibe as it is different than the Bahamas but still has the vacation feel for us that live and grind in South Florida

I think there are a few slips available at Dania Beach Marina. We just put our new 44 sedan bridge there and we love it. You are on the beach!! There is a fishing pier and a restaurant on site as well as one of the most popular paddle boarding and kayaking spot in south Florida. The best part is no matter the size of your boat it is $950 + taxe and electric. They have pump out at every slip and floating docks that handle a 9 ft surge!!!
There is one bridge clearance of 17ft at high tide though. I’m 18 and can come and go most of the time. Good luck!!
