For the bow eye issue... I would have backed in a bit more and the eye would have floated over the bow stop.

That's usually the case here. Usually.Most of the ramps I go to the boat is floating by the time the truck tires touch the water.
In most counties in Wisconsin if you buy the 91 octane at the pump it is non ethanol gas. The marina we were at has it too but 89 octane.Hope that was non ethanol gas
