Hey there, new here, nice to see a great site for the Sea Rays.. Dad left only this 1990 behind.. just put a new 454 in it and it runs great, so.. thinking the vinyl stripes along the outsides are now a lighter baby blue, but could be darker..

What about a 10 inch wide strip of blue just layered over the original? Seeing 3M up to a foot wide online, had me thinking it might work, but no one else seems to be doing it, which should be a heads up..

SeaDek foam that looks like teak? Can cut some templates and mail them off to stick onto the swim platform for a comfy spot? Thanks for the thoughts and best regards

There's a sponsor here, Hull Stripes... they can tell you what works.
I put Aqua Marine deck down... feel really nice under foot.

Best of luck and welcome to CSR!

Remove the old stripe with a hair dryer and googone. Don't put new vinyl over old.

Some of the guys here turned me on to a eraser wheel for your drill. It will remove the old and not harm the gel coat.

The guy at Hull Stripe was great to work with and my boat turned out great! I strongly recommend him to you and any other boaters looking to replace their vinyl

I doubt that Sea Dek has a template for your boat. They will send you material and instructions on how to make your own template. Great stuff and great customer service. I did my swim platform it's in the top 2-3 upgrades that I have done.

+1 on the eraser wheel. Neighbor handed me one last night. 3M product.
