inflatables and barnacles

so this if for the Bay, not fresh water. all summer, wife and i observed a 10 ft inflatable in the water next to a boat. i remarked to the wife "that's going to be a problem". Finally last weekend i saw 2 guys had it out on the pier, one with a power washer and the other with a spatula, must have been an inch or two thick with barnacles. they were on it all day scraping. key words are 'last weekend'. today i noticed its been back in the water. Some people never learn.

They do make bottom paint specifically for inflatables but I’d never paint mine it looks terrible you need to paint some of the tubes as they sit in the water.

Jamestown Distributors has a gray inflatable bottom paint that looks good and works really well.
