Those are good ideas! Thank youI keep a placemat on my glass cover (alcohol/electric). I use it once in a while so its easy to pull off
You could find or make a nice cutting board cover. Just need 4 feet in the corners for clearing your knobs. And those rails would keep it in place
Good idea! I will do that.Remove the knobs then drill a hole where the shafts are part way thru what ever you use for the cover that way its not sticking up so high. Just use a thick enough material so you don't have to go all the way thru material..
This is a good interim fix, thank you!I just use it..... I like that it's a flat top.
I keep my Keurig on it w/o issue.
Of course the breaker is always off.
I never use my stove - I'm a microwave person.
Has anyone found something to cover the stove so it is simply a counter?
That's how I use the stove not, but it's pretty tacky.
See pic attached. View attachment 92829 All ideas welcome!
Thank you - I found a place in Seattle that will cut me a 15"x24" granite piece to fit in there, after I remove the knobs and put 4 feet under it. Problem solved. Thanks for the charging station idea!
We just leave the breaker off and use it as-is for a counter top. Seems to work. Once in a while, on a cool day, that stove is good for making soup.
