1) Eliminate the electoral college -- allowing two or 3 states or regions to win every election;

3) Eliminate the filibuster -- the one legislative mechanism which required at least some consensus with the minority party.
4) Pack the Supreme Court with justices who will decide cases the way they want, making it a mini legislative body.

Now under those circumstances, if you are a "red" state why would you stick around? If the Democrats win in November we will be as close to a civil war as we were during the actual civil war.

If Kalifornia, Washington and Oregon decided to go to war in order to succeed from the United States that would be a Civil War which would be short-lived since it is impossible for those States to support themselves and defend their borders.

Civil unrest is resolved at the ballot box in our Republic. If you don't like the result .....move somewhere else .....that's how democracy works. Make sure to turn your passport in because we don't want you back if you can't accept the results.

The clowns running California were duly elected by its people so that they get what they elected. It is not a surprise that anyone that disagrees with Socialism is leaving Kalifornia, New York, New Jersey and Illinois. If those States could secede....they would. The simple answer is that: Secession would require a US Constitutional amendment approved by two-thirds majorities in the US House of Representatives and Senate, then ratification by 38 state legislatures. Not likely to happen.

You are not going to see a Civil War over this.....what you will see is a mass exodus of business and wealth plunging the States deeper into financial chaos begging for Federal bailouts. Financial chaos breeds hatred and violence....just look at Baltimore and Chicago.
