Very nicely done. I look forward to the write up. Be sure to include cost and labor times.

That looks NEW!! Interested in your underwater lights upgrade...pics...details?

Looks fantastic... looking forward to the write up and durability. Local guys here aren’t big in this yet they keep saying doesn’t last long enough in the Florida sun vs the cost to justify. I look forward to hearing your results after 6 months in FL sun....

Yes lots of car type ceramics out there
This is more industrial we don’t do cars

Looks great Neal. Great work!
Expected longevity and any annual requirements to keep it looking like that?

Gorgeous ...nice work. Looking forward to hearing more about the process

I have it on my car.
Has to be renewed every year but looks good.
By year end rain water stops beading.
Yikes. If you have to do it every year on a boat hull you might as well pain through using presto polish and collinite fleetwax paste on the hull. That lasts all year and much cheaper than a ceramic coating

My vette was ceramic coated. Amazing how well it cleaned up with little effort and held a shine for weeks. Marine ceramics are no different except the marine industry has been slower to adopt. I would definitely recommend.

I have had it on 2 boats and seen it on 3 others in my marina. Granted this is Florida but it does not work as claimed by the sellers/installers. It looks beautiful when first applied but before a year was up it looked and protected worse than plain waxed gelcoat. Way over rated especially when you figure in the cost. None of us will use it again.
When you do decide to go back to compounding and wax it is a major job which includes wet sanding.

Presta makes that spray on ceramic coating. Seems like a hybrid. I am going to try it on the topside over this winter to see how it lasts when they launch in spring. That way of if wears too quick I’ll be able to do something about it in the covered well vs hull which you are waiting to haul out.
