We have a 2005 240SD - it has a bow & transom shower as well as faucets in the sinks in the head as well as the cockpit. When I turn on the water pump, I get plenty of power in the sinks but hardly get more than a squirt that comes out of the bow & transom showers? Any ideas whats going on?

The faucets are probably plugged with something.... take them apart and clean the screens

There’s also a filter near the pump by your batteries.
We have an ‘07 240SD and ended up putting new shower sprayers on the bow and stern because even after taking them apart and cleaning they were still not 100%.

I have unscrewed both ends of the sprayer hose at the pump and far handle end and blown air through them. The pump has a 1/4 turn connection on one end with a mesh screen, and you can usually find a chunk of something there, but the same screen seems to be providing good pressure to other places.

You have a newer boat, so this may not be your issue - but depending on the condition and material of the flexible shower hose itself, it may be kinking at some point. Mine works great as long as I dont pull all the hose out - at that point it kinks and water flow stops.

Where did you buy the new shower sprayers?

I put new faucets, shower sprayer, hoses, all that stuff in spring. Look at RV sites like camping world. Hunt the net. RV has the same stuff as marine at a lot less cost.

Agree on the rv stuff. Also I took the sprayer to Home Depot and bought stainless braided hose, like for your home shower. It’s much more durable and won’t kink as easily. Plus it’s heavier, so it drops into the storage area easier.

These worked great. Not as heavy duty as the factory sprayers. But the 1/2" threaded connection worked perfectly. @$20 each I can replace them 4 or 5 times versus the factory replacement cost.
