Things we do when not on the boat

It's funny, it's usually harder to find time for the boat than it is to find something to do other than the boat. Mostly revolving around something with a motor.

Motorcycles probably take up the most of my time. Dual-sport riding in the mountains of Mexico part of a 12 day trip into Seira Madre Oriental mountain towns. Try and do a trip like this once every other year plus many US based trips/long-weekends.

Last winter did a complete garage make-over mostly by myself with the exception of the floor. Also spend a lot of time either working on the Mustang (never-ending) or tracking the 911, although Covid killed that this year unfortunately.

My two grandaughters and their swim team did well at state last night. State Div2 champs...first time in almost 30 years. Jokingly I always take the credit for their success in swimming because the kids were with us every weekend on the boat....mainly I do that to irritate their other set of grandparents:D

I had one once, it was blue, I forget the color name but it was similar to Chevy's Marina Blue. Ya on drinking, it led you to getting a Mach1, just the opposite in my case. A night full of strip clubs, heavy drinking, nothing left but me and the trunk lid. :(

Great work!

I had terrible whiteflies all year and continuing now even. The Japanese beetles and stink bugs were a problem as well.

There is a lot of residential landscaping around which brings in unwanted pests and disease this makes things more challenging.

I have a better plan for next season.

I had a bumper crop of weeds this year. I was so busy with work I just didn’t have time for the garden. Every year I promise myself I’m going to back off On the work and every year I just get busier.

Woody, 1st time ever for us at State. 3 private schools from Milwaukee, Eau Claire, and Chippewa Falls. Then little old public Prentice. I tell people I have the #1 Div 4 public school in Wisconsin. :)
