Regal is coming out with some nice outboard powered boats. Four stroke outboard power is the future. The Regal 26 XO is selling as fast as they can make them. I'll never understand why Sea Ray did not come out with an outboard powered 260 Sundancer.

That’s pretty cool. Shallow draft, 50 mph. Only downside I see for a cruiser is no great option for a dinghy on the back...maybe another location?

If you can get that close to shore, no need for a dinghy.

There is a 42” lazarette, full beam width, so not sure a dinghy would fit there, but maybe...

Fine if you’re in a lake. We have 20ft tides here in the PNW. Need a dinghy.

This looks like a great way to carry a dinghy with outboards and could likely be fabricated easily.

Just use a portabote as your dinghy. Pretty seaworthy but a waterbed feeling to the floor. Folds flat about the size of a SUP.

Really cool boat, did anyone do a build and submit for a quote? Curious how the outboards will affect the pricing of this compared to a traditional set up.

Only a few times while living in Marquette, MI.
Always cold.

Hope to one day get our 480DB up into Superior and visit Lower Harbor in Marquette.

The shallow bays warm up quite nicely mid to late summer and are nice for swimming.
