The inventor put it over the top, so that is the way it is intended to work...
 
Dammit...I thought this was going to be really entertaining...like pig on a boat level entertaining. Rat farts!
 
I feel like we've all started to lose it a bit earlier than normal this year. February is going to get REALLY weird around here! :)
 
I know a down under person. After 13 years of marriage I still can't get her to do it right! She puts it on wrong--I correct it.
 
The F-ing cat can unwind a roll in minutes. Admiral went Aussie and always installed mullet orientation because the The F-ing cat, who could shit on her dinner plate, can do no wrong. I oriented the roll the way God intended it, and with enough negative reinforcement, the cat leaves it the F alone.
 
Anyone who remembers having young children around knows why the roll gets installed mullet-style. Once they're old enough to be properly chastised, the rolls get put back the right way.

Does... she have a reason for hording them? My dad saves empty hand lotion bottles. By the hundreds. Stacked on his kitchen counter...

No rational reason at all. I have never let them pile up beyond four on the floor before I break down and throw them away and make it right. She was a spoiled brat as a kid and unfortunately I have been trained to just smile and deal with it. We never had kids so she is my 56 year old kid I get to pick up after. Its all about the balance don't your know! oh and thanks for the sympathy Blue one:D
 
The inventor is correct ,it should go over the top so the correct side ends up on the "bottom".
