Official 370 Sundancer thread

Does anyone know how the lower room under the cockpit turns into a bed? What cushion goes into the U shaped section? Haven't been able to figure that out.
It is 2 separate cushions, probably in the PO's attic or storage.

Hi all. Just replaced the windshield vent gaskets with approx 1' on each side & 2' alone the bottom, with the Taylor Made gasket 835200 - picture attached.

I'd ordered 5' of the gasket @ $8/LF plus shipping and handling but for some reason they sent me a lot more, probably enough for 2 boats at 4 1/2 feet each. If someone is looking to replace their windshield vent gaskets I'll share what I have left for a few dollars plus shipping cost. If interested, email me at
.
Is this gasket still available? I can use what you have left. If you already sold, where did you get it and part number
Thank you

Some pictures of Warspites overhaul..

Sorry about image duplication. Don't know why it did that.

Hi everyone, not new to this thread but have taken a 4 year break from owning a 95 370 and just bought a 96. I am scrambling to get the boat shipped and hoping someone knows the height difference between the 96 and the 97-99 when the arch was raised? The schematics on 370sundancer.com is for the taller arch so I assume the 95-96 isn’t as tall? Thanks.

This might be what you were after...

Lucked into some 4 Blades off of a newer 340 DA, NiBrAl 18" had them re pitched to 18x20 with a bit more cupping. Putting them on tomorrow excited to see how they do!

This diagram shows an overall height of 11'4" and the diagram I have on the 370sundancercom website shows an overall height of 12'1" so that suggests the difference in arch height from the 944-96 models and the '97-'99 models might be 9" which seems excessive. I thought the arch had been raised 6".

Just checking in for posterity here, hopefully someone else can make use of the info.

Tested the new(er) 4 blades yesterday here, 7 on board just under half tank of fuel both tanks and a puppy lol.

she loved to cruise right around 3250 MUCH quieter than the 3 blades 20.5-21.5 knts depending on depth of water.

have to get them re worked though only was able to turn 4350 rpm. Going to adjust the cup from .135 to the same as the 3 blades which was .073. that should give me +200 rpm and put me right where I want to be.

Still need to test the boat with just the wife and I but overall thee 4 blades are much more efficient, 29.5 gph at 3250 or so netting a .81 mpg which is so much better than what was on there. Though over propped she did not seem stressed or to be burning extra fuel. removing intake manifold on starboard in inspect/clean injectors I could be missing some top end from that one.

Regards,
Paul

Does anyone know what the dc accessory switch does in the salon dc breaker panel?

Is this a switch that searay added for future add ons? If so does anyone know where to find the hot end of that wire?

Cheers.

On mine, the ACC is marked but blanked off with no switch and I believe the hot wire is sitting behind the dash, ready to be used as a 12v power source.
In my case, I intend to use it as the switch for my underwater led lights, but I've assumed I'll have to run wires to the relay I'll use, and confirm another power source.

Awesome thanks, that's what I figured. Good to know when I start doing some electronics upgrades to the dash.

Have you picked out your lights yet?.
I was looking into doing this as well, sea blaze seems like the only company that makes a good quality underwater light. But so damn expensive.

I was going to run OceanLED, but I found a factory that produces an impressive set of surface mounted underwater lights that are super bright and more wallet friendly so I bought a few.

One other question for all you Searay370 experts..
My generator.
It starts just fine. Runs perfectly - as long as I hold down the preheat button. When I release the button it starts to shake pretty bad and run really low it's almost like the idle is super low and it's missing or something?
Also I'm not getting any voltage on my ac circuit?
If anyone has any thoughts as to what might be causing the issue before I throw some cash at it. Most appreciated.
I have checked oil levels coolant levels and I am getting water pumping out the side.
I don't think it has been used much I've never really looked into it until now. I really want to get my heater and hot water going etc.
Speaking of hot water. I read somewhere that some of these boats have a heat exchanger with the starboard engine so you can get hot water without generator on? I tested it today, got my starboard engine up to temp and no hot water so I'm guessing I don't have that feature?

genny on my 380 was doing similar

the preheat button is supposed to activate the electric fuel pump and also override sensors

For mine, ended up being the fuel pump...

Look at your water heater, if you see a couple hoses (besides the blue and red water pex) you have the loop from your motor. On my 380, water heater has the capability, but hoses were not installed, my water heater is NOT in the engine room so that may be why it’s not connected

Great info thank you. My water heater is in the cabin under the cushions in the stern couch/bedroom. I will check the connections.

I noticed some hoses coming off my manifolds and heading somewhere towards the bow but I think it's going to the radiator/heat exchanger for the defroster/warm air at captains seat.
