how do the cockpit seats move on a 34 EC move???
is there a bar or lock under them???

Open the doors, mine have 3 studs with wing nuts and washers that hold them to the side.

The seats do not adjust. The base can be moved forward or aft for comfort or removed altogether for service tasks in the engine room. There are carriage bolts that attach the base to the side of the cockpit wall for moving the base. That's it.

I just removed the seats from 1987 340 Express to winterize the engines and change oil. Each seat has 3 wing nuts to remove, then lift the seats up and over. Great access in this engine room / bilge.

I have the same boat and also added a Clevis pin to the outside interior corners of the floor of each seat base to keep it from sliding back and stressing the 3 nut attachment site
