This is the second time this exact claim has been made. The first was for PA seems GA had the exact same out come so far.
The Trump statement today offered no evidence what so ever. Rudy looked like a fish out of water flopping around hoping to land back in the water. Glad to see every avenue is being tried and exhausted, the outcome will leave no doubt on the election.

Your blindness never surprises me. I don't watch cnn. The exact same post was put on Twitter by Trump when her and Guiliani made those wild unfounded claims. Funny how Trump fired her after that. Then the exact same tweet was used for Georgia. No I didn't watch Bidens speak today but obviously you did. Am really enjoying watching Trump lose every single day what is it 40 lawsuits thrown out for lack of evidence. What an ass no wonder the GOP are distancing themselves from Trump.

You realize there is no such thing as "lack of evidence" in a motion to dismiss, right? The legal standard for a motion to dismiss is to assume the plaintiff's allegations are true. These case are being thrown out for different reasons or the judges are biased. Unless and until the evidence/witness is subject to cross examination there is no decision made on the "evidence."

I saw it. I wanted to slit my wrists afterwards. The dude is such a downer. He's still talking about a "dark winter" when vaccines are expected to be approved Dec. 10 and on the road to distribution 24 hours later. He's Jimmy Carter part 2.

If Biden had 80 million votes, why'd only 4 people (5 including the camera man) show up to greet him at his retreat home?

Yet Trump, with millions less votes than Biden (and still many million more than in 2016), can't go anywhere without drawing a crowd. The pubic were holding boat and car parades in support of Trump!?

This isn't passing the sniff test..... but it seems iprof will be thrilled with $5/gallon gas once Bidens in....

I think you are over simplifying the effectiveness of the vaccine from a public health perspective. Yes, it will be immediately effective to those that get the vaccination, but it will be weeks, if not months, before enough people have received it to make a dent in the number of infections. And until that happens people will continue to get sick. Hospitals are already at capacity in many locations around the country, so that will only get worse. We will also begin seeing an added surge in new cases in two to three weeks from the holiday. So yes, it is going to be a bad winter.

But for the fact that for 90% of the people infections don't mean chit, ok. You vaccinate the healthcare workers, the old, and the people with serious comorbidities -- the hospitals will clear out. For those that do get sick enough to be hospitalized, you have the monoclonal antibodies as a treatment. You don't need herd immunity or the infections to go completely away to start getting back to normal.

I don’t disagree with your view of the process, just your time scale. Initially I think the process will go quickly; the first candidates will already be in a medical environment as either workers, or patients, or those who see medical personnel on a very regular basis. After that the process will begin to take longer because people will have to take time out of their day to go and get it done. Just look at the delays with drive through testing. There are a gazillion little things that are going to make population wide inoculation a slow process.

You are both right and wrong on one point. We do not need herd immunity to get back to normal. We do need the combination of herd immunity from those who have been infected and survived, AND, those who have been vaccinated. And that number assuming a 70% threshold for the US population, is over 230,000,000, or 460,000,000 procedures.

Actually, nope. Sure there might be a line to get vaccinated, but a few hours and it's done. People who want the vaccination will get it done.

We don't need 230,000,000 to get infected or vaccinated to start getting back to normal. Once the at risk population is done, the stress on the hospitals won't be there and they'll have no legitimate reason to lock us in our homes. I'm not getting the vaccination for quite some time -- I'll save my dose for more needy people. But I'll continue to take precautions -- no bars/inside restaurants for a while, wash hands, etc. I wasn't a big social person before, and I won't be after. My idea of a party is a few cold ones on the back of my boat.
