What's the verdict, is it hot or not or does it just depend on the color?

I have a darker Corinthian....if air temp is over 85 and direct sun light it will get hot... where ever there is shade it stays cool at any temp. We will wear boat shoes if it’s hot or put a towel down for a kid or pet..... the other benefits of the material out weigh this problem that happens once in a while

Perfect product for the boat except for the heat in exposed areas. The many other benefits (including it looks awesome!) outweigh the heat. A splash of water to hot spots cool it for quite awhile.

I really like mine. I went with a light color and still gets hot in the sun but only on the hottest days. 90% of the time it is fine. As stated above, a little water on it and you are all set. Defiantly a great product that I would have installed again.

Does get hot in direct sun. But the benefits outweigh the heat issue for me. Easy to cool off with a splash of water. I left it out of the entry way for that reason. Transom shower is right there.

I love the look but it does get hot out in the sun. Before I get out of the water I usually splash a little water on top the swim platform and it's fine.

I have the color flax seed which is a light tan and in the direct sun light it does get pretty hot. But I wouldn't give it up for the old Burber for anything. Our camper top is up for shade so when the sun does heat it up we just cover it with a beach towel.

Yep, hot hot hot. Light tan, can’t walk on it barefoot any day the sun is out and it is above 85 degrees.

Love it! Your kids could squash a grape or spill Kool Aid on it and it will clean right up. It also dries quickly. Well worth it. Quint/Dave did a great job with our boat.

We have the Seadek on the swim platform and entryway which never seems to get hot but the woven snap-in that is in the cockpit gets blazing hot in the Florida sun.

We avoid cloudy cool days. Since our typical boating activity is in the hot sun I'll have to nix the woven vinyl. Now, a few years ago I DID have it because there were few good alternatives. So, we used shoes, towels, splashed water, etc. Now, with snap-in SeaDek as a cost effective alternative, there is no question what the choice is.

If you must travel with animals or do a lot of fishing, maybe the woven stuff is a better choice. Personally, my fishing boat has an uncarpeted FG deck that is easily hosed down. In that case, though, we always wear shoes anyway.
