I'm assuming the chrome valve is for city water supply while in the slip. What is the other hose connection below that for?

White is for City water in it will be regulated, Chrome is for fresh water out.

I believe this is same on most boats so hopefully others will chime in as well.

The chrome valve is a freshwater washdown. The connection below it is for the dockside water inlet...If you use this be sure to leave your water pump off, and NEVER leave the boat unattended with the dockside water hooked up!

Thanks guys! That makes sense in salt environments. I had already read somewhere to never leave the city water on when away from the boat.
