So I registered for the virtual Toronto Boat Show that starts this week. Its free and being virtual, it definitely won’t be the same. But the line-ups will be shorter! It will be interesting to see how other boat shows deal with COVID. If you are curious, you can register for Toronto from anywhere.

Anyway, they have a preview on now and their “new products” section on-line caught my eye. This new Tiara looks really interesting (not the price LOL). 43ft and outboard powered.

I'll be on, wondering if they'll have the accessory and apparel vendors like they normally do in person. I buy a ton of sperrys and usually a few nice lines when we go up every year.

Thanks for the heads up ..I registered and look forward to checking it out this week. The Vancouver show usually happens the first week of February. Always a bright spot to break up the winter. It will also be virtual this year but obviously not the same. Last year I bought our new tender and enjoyed checking out some of the larger, newer boats on the floor as well as the yachts at the floating section at Granville Island. I’ll be looking for some deals on some accessories this year instead. Maybe I can find a deal on a wind turbine I’ve been thinking of adding to the arch.

We have been to the Toronto show many times, but then changed to the Cleveland show a few years ago. At times we have not been able to go because of bad weather and weren't' willing to drive on I90 in a blizzard. Of course, Ontario roads would have been worse.

This year was a bummer. The "virtual" freaking show is on right now. A BIG bummer. Better to stay home and watch reruns of Walker Texas Ranger. Certainly, "virtual" is not a boat show, nor a show, nor an enjoyment.

I apologize to those that set it up because I understand that it was all they had to work with. Nevertheless, until its safe to venture out of the house, nothing will be worthwhile.
