It`s called the Tiki Bar.... what is your signature drink?

Vodka and Soda with a Lime Slice.
Use White Blossom vodka from Valentine Distilling Company which is made in Ferndale, MI. It has a bit of Elderflower flavor but is not too strong.

Or Bud Light.

Buddy from across the bay got me into Margaritas again this year. Patron, Grand Mariner and grape fruit juice, splash of pineapple juice. But I found those to be dangerous.

Wondering what next year's choice will be.

Hopefully not this:

REGENERON'S REGN-COV2 ANTIBODY COCKTAIL REDUCED VIRAL LEVELS AND IMPROVED SYMPTOMS IN NON-HOSPITALIZED COVID-19 PATIENTS
TARRYTOWN, N.Y., Sept. 29, 2020 /PRNewswire/ --
Greatest improvements in patients who had not mounted their own effective immune response prior to treatment
Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: REGN) today announced the first data from a descriptive analysis of a seamless Phase 1/2/3 trial of its investigational antibody cocktail REGN-COV2 showing it reduced viral load and the time to alleviate symptoms in non-hospitalized patients with COVID-19. REGN-COV2 also showed positive trends in reducing medical visits. The ongoing, randomized, double-blind trial measures the effect of adding REGN-COV2 to usual standard-of-care, compared to adding placebo to standard-of-care.

@Creekwood Let's hope those aren't the cocktails we will be speaking of...

In a big glass:

1.5 oz light rum
1.5 oz soda or 7up if you like sweeter
4 oz guava juice (if not in the regular part of the market, check the latin aisle)
Float some sweet dark rum on top.

The Guava Cooler, my invention, you have permission to use without paying a royality :)

So you know how you put on a pair of pants and find $10 in the pocket and think you hit the lottery? Admiral found a fifth of Tito's stashed away -- same feeling. :)

Thanks!
And ditto on the pomegranate margarita. (especially since it's from one of my favorite Mexican restaurants)

Well, I always have dry hopped double IPA's onboard, and good bourbon, but the "signature drink" on Beginnings is probably something I learned on Jost Van Dyke, "Toasty Josty", at the Soggy Dollar Bar:

Painkiller:
2 oz dark rum (Pussers British Navy Daily Ration)
1 oz cream of coconut
4 oz pineapple juice
1 oz orange juice
shake with ice, pour over ice
fresh grated nutmeg on top
garnish with orange slice and cherry

Tangueray and Tonic. Occasionally I like to switch things up on a nice evening and sip a Single Barrel Jack Daniels.

Breakfast: Beer
Lunch: Beer
Afternoon: Margarita on rocks no salt
Dinner: nice glass of Red wine
Evening: Vodka water
Repeat :)

Nolet's and tonic. Good tonic, like Fever Tree. I like about a 50/50 mix of gin and tonic. And numerous other gins work, too. Some of my favorites: Bluecoat, Citadel, Empress.

Oh, and you can put a lime, cucumber slice, lemon, or whatever else in it, but I prefer you don't.

I'll get this round. Who has the next?

I'm in, and up next!

“Downscope”
One shot, white rum, gin and vodka. Add equal parts of lime drink and orange drink, mix and serve over ice. Secret is to use “drink” not juice. Be careful they sneak up on you. Very tasty and refreshing. Enjoy!

Those sound lethal! Those sugary drinks mask a lot!

This right here, is proper. Nolet's and Fever Tree is damn near my ideal when it comes to a G&T

I recently discovered this in Bayfield WI. I am not a Rye drinker but this is absolutely fantastic. Not only that, the setup is impressive. Highly recommended twist from an Old Fashioned.

We made ours with Angostura and Peychaud’s bitters. Two dashes each.

Keep in mind, this drink is like boobs. Ones not enough and three’s too many.
